Photos
On my latest recent visit to Chicago, I found my dad’s entire library of photographs on photo CDs. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to copy them and bring them back to Miami, so the photo albums I had planned on compiling and uploading will have to wait. I remember him being disappointed that the migration from MSN Space to WordPress essentially deleted all of his photo albums.
New Design
I decided to change the look and feel so that the site wasn’t sporting the default theme from wordpress. I will likely be adding more photographs in the coming weeks. Be on the lookout for them.
Cancer Grace Tribute
I have also posted an excerpt of my father’s reflection as a tribute on Cancer Grace’s site: http://cancergrace.org/tributes/. The message doesn’t fit yet, but Dr. West was nice enough to personally take the time and e-mail me to assure me that his team of webmasters are working on getting the tribute formatted correctly.
Simon Cheung’s Star
I recently posted an excerpt of my father’s reflection as a tribute to my father on Stand Up To Cancer’s site. Stand Up To Cancer has The Constellation where anyone can launch a star in their loved ones’ name. Once launched, others can post comments / additional tributes to the star. Peaceful beginnings
Simon Cheung passed away the morning of June 17th. Services will be held on Monday, June 27th and all friends and family are invited. Please visit the Service page for more details. A reception will follow the service, and attendees are invited to listen, share, and recount their favorite memories of Simon Cheung as a gift to the family.
